Hello! My name is Priyanka, and I'm currently a PhD candidate at the University of Florida. I am an applied ecologist interested in using interdisciplinary approaches to solve conservation issues. My research focuses on the effect of landscape change on community interactions using tropical mixed-species flocks as a model system, and assessing the cost of adopting conservation monitoring technologies in the Global South.​ I am also a science writer always on the lookout for something to write about.
